> Sensei David Scott (6th Dan) is senior instructor and Aiki-Kai representative for South Australia. With over 30 years training experience in Australia and around the world, Scott Sensei is constantly seeking new understandings of this art and is considered one of SA's foremost Aikido practitioners. The main method and inspiration of Aikido that Scott Sensei follows is that of Sugano Shihan with whom he has trained and followed for more than 20 years. However, Scott Sensei's training repertoire contains a wide range of experiences including being Uchi Deshi (live in student) to Saito Sensei of the Iwama Ryu for a short time as well as having trained with several other top ranking instructors in Japan and abroad.

Peter Weston (Upi) (5th Dan) has been training for over 25 years under the direction of Shihan Sugano. Upi was the chief instructor at the Flinders University Dojo for more than 10 years and has recently opened a new Aiki-Kai dojo at Goodwood just south west of the Adelaide city South Parklands. Upi has trainined regulary with Sensei Scott whose classes strongly reflect the direction and emphasis of Shihan Sugano's training method. Upi and the other senior members of our organisation are considered by Shihan Sugano as his personal students training regularly with him on his visits to Australia for Aiki-Kai Australia national events. This privilege is rare and only open to Aiki-Kai Australia members.

> >Stephen Searle (2nd Dan) is senior instructor at the Southern dojo located at Seaview High School.

Cathy Farrer (2nd Dan): Campbelltown's Saturday beginners/general classes

All instructors are graded by Shihan Sugano and are entered into the International Registrar.
